Washi Wednesday Challenge!

Hi Everybody!
It's Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, I'm excited that today is my turn to bring you the Washi Up! Challenge :)  Washi tape comes in sooooooooo many different colors and patterns!

The challenge for this week is........

Make a Scene!

Make the washi tape part of a scene.  It can be any type of project like home decor or a party decoration, but it must use washi tape.

Don't have any Washi tape, and wanna get some of your own?? You can purchase all kinds of designs of Washi tape here.

Here's how my project turned out:

*Best of Pixar Cricut cartridge - Nemo
*My Mind's Eye - washi tape
*Core'dinations - solid cardstock

*To get this look, I first layed the washi tape down on a piece of cardstock big enough for the die to fit.
*Next I layed the die down on the area with the washi tape, and cut it out as I normally would.

I hope you liked my project!  Now it's your turn.  Make sure you link your project up

Hi Everybody!
It's Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and I'm excited that today is my turn to bring you the Washi Up! Challenge :)  Washi tape comes in sooooooooo many different colors and patterns!  Which will be handy for today's challenge.  The challenge for this week is.......

Double Washi!

You must use at least TWO different types of washi tape on your project.  They can be two patterns, two solids, or one of each as long as they are different.

Don't have any Washi tape, and wanna get some of your own?? You can purchase all kinds of designs of Washi tape here.

Here's how my project turned out:

*Kaiser Craft - bling
*Recollections - cardstock

*To get this look, I first layed the washi tape down on a piece of cardstock big enough for the die to fit.
*Next I layed the die down on the area with the washi tape, and cut it out as I normally would.

*These colors and patterns come together, so it was easy to coordinate!  SO PRETTY!!

*I popped up the shape for added dimension.

I hope you liked my project!  Now it's your turn.  Make sure you link your project up

Happy New Year everybody, Its time for another Washi Up Challenge, its my turn to showcase my project for the Challenge. For my Washi Up Theme today is snowflakes washi tape. It has been very cold here in TN we had some snow flurries and wind and that would cut thru you if you stayed outside long enough.   I love the colors of the tape. The cute snow bunny is from Meljens Designs, I thought this image was perfect for this digi tape, I used my copics to color him and some glitter on this fur on his coat.

Using Washi for Christmas!

Hey Hey Hey! It's Jillian from Paper à la Mode! I'm getting my Washi on this week for Christmas!

I've had several of these little birdhouse ornaments I got from my local craft store laying around. I have painted them, papered them, embellished them, but never Washi'd them! Until now of course. Washi works great on chipboard!! Here's my project! It's in my fake tree right now, until we get our real one. I just can't get rid of that tree, it was my husband and I's first Christmas tree. We lived in Hawaii and real ones were expensive and didn't last long. So we decided for our stay there, we'd use an artificial tree. Now that we're in California, we get a real tree but I still put up this one. So the "Christmas Love" sentiment really does work in this situation. I love this little fake tree. <3

So my question to you is, how are you going to make your holidays brighter with Washi tape??
